MAYA | Geometric Silver Leaf Drop Earrings

Inspired by the prolific writer and poet, Maya Angelou, these geometric silver leaf drop earrings are a wearable reminder of the daily good each of us can perform. Take action. Create change. Become someone’s hero.

Sterling silver wing-like structures enhanced with melted fine silver bars. Available in three versions – a drop earring, a long dangle earring, or a pair of asymmetrical mismatched earrings. The shorter version measures a total of 6 cm long whereas the extended version measures a total of nearly 9 cm, and dusts the shoulders as you move. Feeling a bit daring? Choose the asymmetrical style for one long and one short earring!

I think a hero is any person really intent on making this a better place for all people. – Maya Angelou

Maya Angelou – (nee– Marguerite Annie Johnson) was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Civil rights activist, author, poet, actress, screenwriter, and dancer, these are but a few of the many talents of Maya.

Maya’s memoir, published in 1969, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, made literary history as the first nonfiction best-seller by an African-American woman.

I am grateful to be a woman. I must have done something great in another life. – Maya Angelou
